Ingredients
all 8 types- 100g wholemeal flour
- 1 heaped tbsp artificial granulated sweetener
- 1 level tsp ground cinnamon
- 6g baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 3 level tbsp skimmed milk
- 75g vegetable oil based spread, melted
- 1kg apples
Directions

Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas 6.
Step 2
Sift the flour into a bowl, add the artifical sweetener, baking powder and cinnamon into the flour and mix.
Step 3
Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the eggs and the milk. Whisk and add in the melted butter.
Step 4
Peel and core the apples and remove the seeds. Cut them into large slices. Add the apple slices to the mixture and fold in gently.
Step 5
Grease a cake tin (around 23cm in diameter) with some vegetable oil. Pour the mixture into the tin and bake in the oven for 35 minutes.
Step 6
Turn out onto a cooling rack. Leave to cool and serve.
