Ingredients

all 5 types
  1. 125g fine vermicelli
  2. 1.2L semi-skimmed milk
  3. 2 cardamom pods
  4. artificial sweetener, to taste
  5. 60g pistachio nuts, roughly chopped

Directions

Step 1

Bring a pan of water to the boil, add the vermicelli and simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Drain. Return to the pan and add the milk.

Step 3

Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vermicelli and milk have thickened.

Step 4

Remove from the heat, sweeten with sweetener to your taste, and sprinkle over the pistachio nuts.
