Ingredients

all 8 types
  1. 1 tsp rapeseed oil
  2. 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  3. 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  4. 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
  5. 400g tin plum tomatoes
  6. 150g dried wholemeal spaghetti or pasta shapes
  7. 185g tin tuna in water, drained and flaked
  8. 10g grated Parmesan cheese and basil leaves, to serve (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Heat the oil in a medium frying pan, add the onion and garlic and fry for 2–3 minutes until the onion begins to soften.

Step 2

Add the chilli flakes (if using) and the tomatoes and gently squash with a wooden spoon. Bring to the boil and simmer over a low heat for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the pack instructions and drain.

Step 4

Stir the pasta through the sauce with the flaked tuna and serve topped with Parmesan cheese and basil (if using)..
