Ingredients
all 7 types- 15g dairy-free spread
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 10 asparagus spears, chopped
- 25g plain flour
- 450ml reduced salt vegetable stock
- 150ml unsweetened soya milk
- freshly ground black pepper
Directions

Heat the spread in a medium pan, add the onion and asparagus and fry for 2–3 minutes until everything begins to soften.
Step 2
Add the flour and cook for a further minute.
Step 3
Gradually, stir in the stock, bring to the boil and simmer for 10minutes until the asparagus is cooked through, and reserve a couple ofasparagus spears for serving.
Step 4
Add the milk, bring to almost boiling point, then place in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
Step 5
Season with plenty of black pepper and top with the asparagus spears.
