Ingredients

all 11 types
  1. 4 small skinless, boneless chicken breasts (approx. 450g in total)
  2. 8 medium size shallots, peeled
  3. 1 clove garlic, crushed
  4. 2 medium stalks (15cm each) celery
  5. 8 baby carrots, peeled (200g)
  6. 450g new potatoes
  7. 200ml dry white wine
  8. 6g reduced salt chicken stock cube, made up to 450ml
  9. sprig thyme
  10. 1 small savoy cabbage (700g) quartered
  11. 1 tbsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200ºC/ gas 6.

Step 2

Place the chicken, shallots, garlic, celery, carrots, potatoes, wine, stock and thyme into a large casserole dish, cover and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the lid, add the cabbage and cornflour mix, stir well and cook uncovered for a further 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
