Ingredients
all 11 types- 1 slice wholemeal bread
- 1 egg, beaten
- 500g turkey breast mince
- 1 onion, finely grated
- 2 carrots, finely grated
- 4-6 cloves garlic, crushed
- pinch black pepper
- 8 wholemeal rolls, split (approx. 60g each)
- 150g lettuce
- 4 tomatoes, finely sliced
- 1 onion, finely sliced

In a bowl, crumble the bread and add to the beaten egg. Set aside, but mix occasionally, until the bread has absorbed all the egg.
Step 2
Add the turkey mince, onion, carrot, garlic and pepper to the egg and bread then mix well.
Step 3
Form into 8 burgers (approx 8cm diameter and 2½cm thick) and put on a plate or tray, cover with cling film and place in the fridge for at least 20 minutes, but an hour or two is better.
Step 4
Grill the burgers for 6-8 minutes on each side, ensuring they are fully cooked.
Step 5
Toast the buns, if desired, and build your burgers with the lettuce, tomato and onion.
