Ingredients

all 9 types
  1. large handful (approx 25g) mixed fresh herbs (eg parsley, mint, oregano, thyme and basil)
  2. 1 x 160g tin of tuna in sunflower oil, drain the oil and reserve
  3. 25g pine nuts
  4. 45g brown breadcrumbs
  5. zest of a lemon
  6. pinch salt and pepper
  7. 1 egg, beaten
  8. 200g passata
  9. 2 wedges of lemon, to serve

Directions

Step 1

Chop the herbs finely, then mix all the ingredients together and form into 12 walnut- sized balls.

Step 2

Add the oil from the tin of tuna to a frying pan and brown the tuna balls for 10-12 minutes turning regularly.

Step 3

Meanwhile, heat the passata, add the tuna balls and serve with a lemon wedge.
