  1. 1/2 small onion, peeled and very finely chopped
  2. 1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
  3. 200g chopped tinned tomatoes
  4. 2 tsp tomato puree
  5. 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  6. half tsp sweetener

Place all ingredients in a small saucepan.

Step 2

Simmer for 5-6 minutes until reduced slightly.

Step 3

Puree and set aside to cool.
